There's nothing like the mental, physical and spiritual balance one can find in a yoga session. Here are five ways to liberate yourself, and bring a little Zen into your busy life.
The Modern Honolulu hosts Glow Flow, in partnership with Power Yoga Hawaii. It's a black light yoga event with a live DJ.

1. Glow Flow Yoga at The Modern Honolulu
Celebrate summer’s end with a Glow Flow Yoga event, hosted by The Modern Honolulu in partnership with Power Yoga Hawaii. The event takes place on Saturday, Sept. 10. Arrive at 5pm for neon body painting, and at 6pm the 90-minute yoga class will kick off with an acro yoga performance by AcroYoga 808. The class will be led by Power Yoga Hawaii instructors Alex Moralez and Miks S. with DJ DuhBreez spinning live throughout the evening. Afterward, enjoy street tacos on the Sunrise Pool deck. Tickets are $20, or $25 for a VIP spot and Lather Spa gift. Taco bar tickets available for $5. Event parking is $8 with validation. 2. 4th Annual Hawaii Yoga Festival
Registration is open for Kalani’s annual Hawaii Yoga Festival, taking place this year from Oct. 11 to 16. Kalani is a yoga retreat center in Puna, on the Island of Hawai‘i. 3. Yogasmoga
Known for high-end fabric technologies and made-in-the-U.S. garments, Yogasmoga also has founders who grew up in the Himalayas and adhere closely to yoga’s principles. Look for premium yoga wear and other athletic clothing. Our pick? The Honolulu tank ($75), naturally, which features an asymmetric shoulder strap design and semi-transparent mesh. Your downward dog has never been so stylish. Coming in fall 2016 to International Market Place, Level 1 near Saks Fifth Avenue, 2330 Kalakaua Ave., Honolulu, O‘ahu

4. Lumeria Maui
Located in Upcountry Maui, Lumeria is a yoga and wellness retreat. A daily schedule of meditation, yoga and other classes are offered for guests, who also savor farm-to-table meals at the onsite restaurant, The Wooden Crate. Once you’ve stretched and cleansed, consider unwinding at the resort’s healing spa for a treatment. Try the Signature Crystal Massage, which is a combination of crystal healing, Hawaiian aromatherapy and therapeutic touch massage ($165 for 1 hour, $235 for 90 minutes). 1813 Baldwin Ave., Makawao, Maui, 579.8877

5. Kohala Yoga Retreat
The exclusive Hawai‘i Island Retreat Center, on the Kohala Coast, will host a luxurious yoga retreat Nov. 10 to 13. Meditate on the beach, unwind in a cliffside saltwater pool, get a message in an outdoor cabana, and rejuvenate with daily asana practice. Plus, receive 25 hours of Yoga Alliance-recognized continuing ed credits. The instructors are Molly Masaoka and Amanda Webster. 934.7233
