Modern Luxury Hawaii and Velocity Honolulu presented The Luxe Experience in celebration of the named winners in our first issue of The Luxe List. During this over-the-top brunch affair, guests enjoyed exclusive offerings from our participating winners among other luxury brands. Participating winners included Velocity Honolulu, Chef Mavro, Laka Living, Horsea Yoga, Dr. Alvin Chung, Meleana Estes, Cake Works, Drybar, Kristin Wood Lashes, Miki‘ao Nail Bar and Teppanyaki Ginza Onodera. The Luxe Experience attendees also enjoyed products and services provided by other brand partners including 100 Sails Restaurant & Bar, Daiwa, Jamba Juice, Italica Bar & Café, La Palme d'Or, Sixty-One and Viaggio. Offerings ranged from a haku lei workshop and hair styling to luxe massage experiences and a sampling of healthy matcha lattes!
During the course of the event, attendees were encouraged to visit each brand in order to complete a Formula 1 race track-themed game. By doing so, guests were entered to win various prizes courtesy of our partners and sponsors. Event-goers also indulged in bites such as Chef Mavro’s Big Island citrus declinaison and Teppanyaki Ginza Onodera’s salt-steamed wagyu, mimosa and Bloody Mary bars plus beats by DJ Jem. To top it off, Time Stoppers 360 provided a fun, interactive photo experience with an exotic car as the backdrop!
A portion of the proceeds from the event benefitted the Kapi‘iolani Medical Center for Women and Children.
