Amanda Robson, the Hawai`i-born woman behind FEAST, offers creative direction, styling and planning for slow-food gatherings, thoughtful weddings and other celebrations. Robson left the islands to attend fashion school and then The California Culinary Academy, before working in the San Francisco restaurant scene. “All of the different focuses I’ve absorbed are now used in my work,” she boasts. The experiences Robson curates—featuring top chefs and sustainable design—result in a whimsical, community-centered event where time can slow and people can enjoy what’s in season. There’s no doubt Robson’s future is full, as she’s looking to expand FEAST into its own brick-and-mortar space, ideally close to where she lives and thrives, in Upcountry, Maui.
