THE PARTY To toast Tosca and the closing of its successful 2012-2013 Grand Opera Season, Hawaii Opera Theatre invited its patrons for an intimate reception at Salvatore Ferragamo at Ala Moana Center. THE PLAYERS Salvatore Ferragamo’s Director of Merchandising Clay Edmonds and Area Manager Valerie Sylvester, Jay Lesenger, Patsy Bunn, Jim Leavitt, Patricia Takemoto, Dr. Ronald and Reiko Nakamura THE HIGHLIGHTS Hawaii Opera Theatre’s former Executive Director Karen Tiller gave guests a lively welcome, thanking them for their ongoing support. And what better way to celebrate the grand finale than with delectable bites from contemporary Italian eatery Prima under the direction of chef Kevin Lee. In addition to providing a generous donation to Hawaii Opera Theatre from the evening’s sales, Ferragamo gave patrons the chance to preview its customizable Vara shoe before its official debut.
