Bring on the celebratory pours, Cattleya Wine Bar recently opened inside the elegant Orchids restaurant at the Halekulani Hotel, and with a specialty selection of global wines, which can be purchased by the glass, bottle or through the Coravin system (where a thin, hollow needle is inserted through the cork to extract the wine), nights out with friends just got a lot better. And, of course, no glass of wine is complete without light bites to pair. Choose from a selection of Mediterranean-inspired tapas (think ahi tostada, charcuterie and hamachi crudo) to complement your desired wine profiles. Be on the lookout for announcements about upcoming winecentric events, like the recent wine tasting and four-course dinner event with winemaker Michael Hirby.
