The Party
One of Hawai‘i’s top destinations for superior timepieces, Ben Bridge Timeworks joined leading Swiss watchmaker Girard-Perregaux for a dazzling duet of back-to-back soirees for Honolulu’s discriminating collectors. The exclusive agenda started with an intimate, invitation-only dinner at Chef Mavro, followed by a festive in-store party at Ala Moana Center the next evening.
The People
Michele Sofisti, CEO of Sowind Group (owner of Girard-Perregaux), traveled halfway around the world from Switzerland just to attend. Joining him in the festivities was President and co-CEO Ed Bridge of Ben Bridge and his always charming wife, Pam.
The Highlights
Exquisite craftsmanship shone both evenings. During the repast hosted at Chef Mavro, guests were treated to beautifully plated and exquisite tasting dishes. (The foie gras served three ways elicited gasps of delight.) The following night, chefs Wade Ueoka and Michelle Karr-Ueoka of MW Restaurant delighted palates with sophisticated small bites. By far, the creations from both eateries were the perfecting pairing for Girard-Perregaux’s superbly crafted watches. –Photos by Mark Ramelb and Travis Okimoto
