Flapper Fever

| May 11, 2015 | Parties

While Turtle Bay Resort on O‘ahu’s North Shore is itself spectacular at sunset, the property took on a whole new allure for the Roaring Twenties, an exclusive private fete thrown by ProService Hawaii. Special touches lent a touch of The Great Gatsby to the evening, but nothing quite made a statement like the 1979 ClĂ©net Coachworks roadster, which took center stage on the lawn. (In fact, the car was 166th out of a run of 250.) Needless to say, the luxurious ride served as the backdrop for quite a few selfies that evening. It goes without mentioning that the vintage cocktails fueled the night ahead, which included dinner followed by a dance party. And trust us—the flappers from the ’20s would not have been able to keep up with this crew. –Photos by Travis Okimoto
