Going Once, Going Twice!

BY Lexi Sunberg | March 23, 2018 | Feature Features National

A vibrant Kai Lenny collectable surfboard is up for auction—and for a good cause.
A generous 100 percent of the surfboard proceeds will go toward the Surfrider Foundation.

Painted by Maui’s very own fine artist Kim McDonald, now you can ride the waves on a collectible Kai Lenny surfboard. Now through April 23, the artful board is available for bets via the Primal Patterns Auction, a live online experience for surf and art lovers alike. The hand-painted, world-class shaped “Soul of the Sea” surfboard features Lenny’s foot prints, highlighting the importance of the world-famous surfer’s stance. The feel-good bonus? The auction item’s proceeds will go toward the Surfrider Foundation who’s efforts focus on coastal protection in key areas of beach access, coastal preservation, plastic pollution, ocean protection and clean water. A true winning cause! Donations are also accepted.
