Hail Britannia!

| May 11, 2015 | Parties

The Party
Honolulu’s style seekers were pleasantly stunned two years ago when the metropolis scored the country’s second only Westwood boutique—right at Moana Surfrider. The second anniversary made for a perfect opportunity to celebrate the location’s ongoing success, as well as the spring/summer 2015 collection.

The People
The visionary who brought the forward-thinking Brit label to Honolulu, Cathy Schultz perfectly represented the eclectic British designer with a romantic striped frock. To top off the look, she added extra charm with a whimsical pearl necklace, a Westwood signature. (The piece has been flying out of the store for months.) At her side was hubby and Honolulu Coffee mogul Ed Schultz. Also welcoming guests was affable General Manager Jered Branco, whose outfit popped with color.

The Highlights
To toast the occasion, an assortment of cocktails from The Moana Surfrider went around. The libations definitely fueled some serious shopping. After all, it was hard to not notice Westwood’s eye-catching and socially conscious designs. Before leaving the soiree, it was mandatory to take home one (or two) of Honolulu Coffee’s macarons. –Photos by Travis Okimoto
