Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea unveils a spectacular reimagination of its oceanfront flagship dining concept, Ferraro’s Restaurant & Bar. A design transformation by acclaimed Venice, CA-based boutique agency Studio Collective and a dynamic new modern Italian menu direction further strengthens the beloved restaurant’s nearly 30-year culinary legacy. “Our vision for the evolution of Ferraro’s embraces the soul of the island, integrating contemporary sophistication with a welcoming, residential charm,” says Adam Goldstein, partner and design director of Studio Collective. The 192-seat oceanfront concept features locally sourced materials, natural elements, and various dining groupings on the upper and lower decks to maximize sunset views.
Under the culinary direction of executive chef Ryan Schelling and Ferraro’s chef de cuisine Russell Rummer, diners can enjoy a variety of artfully prepared seafood dishes accompanied by an array of handmade pastas and the freshest locally sourced seasonal produce. “The reimagination combines the best of Maui and Italy through an unforgettable culinary experience, where Italian cuisine melds with our aloha spirit,” says Ben Shank, Four Seasons Resort Maui general manager. We suggest enjoying the Festa da Ferraro, which highlights a selection of chef Rummer’s not-to-bemissed dishes served family-style or indulging in the Pesce Intero Alla Piastra, a roasted whole Hawaiian snapper. fourseasons.com/maui/dining/restaurants/ferraros

The Shops at Wailea welcome Wolfgang’s Steakhouse’s sizzling menu and expansive wine selection. PHOTO COURTESY OF THE SHOPS AT WAILEA
Wolfgang’s Steakhouse by Wolfgang Zwiener debuted at The Shops at Wailea, Maui’s premier dining and shopping destination. With an expansive outdoor lanai with indoor and outdoor bars, diners can savor impressive cuts like the tomahawk, NY sirloin, ribeye, filet mignon, and lamb and veal chops. Seafood lovers can delight in fresh catches, grilled salmon, seared ahi tuna, and jumbo three-pound lobsters. We suggest German potatoes or lobster mac n’ cheese to complement these premium cuts. Tantalizing appetizers and crafted desserts perfectly bookend the dining journey, complemented by an expansive wine selection and luxurious cocktail menu. A glass-enclosed “wall of wine” houses a thousand bottle collection at the entrance. We are thrilled to bring Wolfgang’s Steakhouse to The Shops,” says Rosalind Schurgin, CEO of The Festival Companies. “Guests can now experience this outstanding American steakhouse fare in paradise.” theshopsatwailea.com
