Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikīkī Beach Resort’s Rainbow Tower received an extensive makeover that embraces the ocean’s influence with contemporary coastal hues and island-inspired textures. The newly redesigned Rainbow Kai rooms feature natural materials and woven details to create an authentic sense of place, while the corridor’s undulating carpet patterns echo the rhythms of nearby waves.
Guests will find a blend of modern comfort and authentic island charm in the redesigned Rainbow Kai rooms and hallways.
Most notably, the renovation showcases an impressive collection of local artistic talent. Guests can now experience the locally sourced contemporary flower arrangements of Kristen Reyno of Lola Pilar, the tropical landscape paintings of Heather Almeda, the bold abstract works of Tamara Brink, the island life block print art by Malie Moana, and the woodcut relief prints of surf artist Steven Kean, among others. Each piece, rich in multicolor themes, pays homage to the history-making Rainbow Mural, which has appeared in countless Hollywood productions, including Godzilla, Hawai‘i Five-0, Magnum P.I., and NCIS: Hawai‘i.
Whether admiring Diamond Head from a refreshed suite or watching the weekly fireworks display from the resort’s prime stretch of white sand beach, Waikīkī’s Rainbow Tower stands tall. hiltonhawaiianvillage.com
