2019 Sony Open in Hawaii champion Matt Kuchar proved to the world in front of hundreds of eager fans that victory is not just for the young. “It’s not like you hit 40 and you have to go away. There are guys that have done great. ... [It] feels good.” Kuchar won with a four stroke lead, beating out Andrew Putnam with a total score of 22-under. At Waialae Country Club, he spoke of his affinity for the islands: “Whether it’s the locals [or]members, I feel like I’ve got a great relationship with this island. It was so fun to have so much support out there.” Go Kuuuuuuch!
