A bold wood-themed concept integrated with robust contemporary interiors makes for a striking yet decidedly relaxed and cool design statement at The Hideaway at Montage Kapalua Bay. 1 Bay Drive, Lahaina, 662.6620
The mission was to pay homage to the surrounding natural environment so that guests could feel relaxed and restored in paradise while dining.
Avenue Interiors Design conceptualized a seamless flow of wood throughout the restaurant, from the interior dining space to the fully operable shutters, to achieve a flowing, indoor to outdoor ambiance.
The tables and chairs feature a distinctive single strip theme showing a minimalist continuum. Furniture was chosen from Palecek, Restoration Hardware, TableTopics, Caluco, Teak Warehouse and Serena & Lily.
Dining chairs and bar stools are made of natural rope, projecting a nautical vibe, and the communal table features a custom live edge.
