Susan G. Komen, the world’s leading breast cancer organization, presents an unforgettable evening of inspiration and impact. The upcoming Pink Tie Ball, “Paniola in Pink,” transforms the elegant Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach into a celebration of hope and commitment on Saturday, March 8, 2025.
This distinguished gala brings together Hawai’i’s most dedicated community leaders and philanthropists, featuring the culinary mastery of chef Jordon Swiler and immersing guests in the rich Paniolo heritage through authentic sights, sounds, and dance. The evening will honor Dr. Diane Paloma, President and CEO of Hawai‘i Dental Service, whose courageous journey through breast cancer and unwavering dedication to healthcare leadership exemplifies the spirit of advocacy and resilience.
Executive Director Rolanda Morgan shares that every week, 566 people in Hawai‘i reach out to Komen for support and guidance. “We are making great strides yet; we cannot do it alone," she says. “Ending breast cancer needs all of us.” Through this transformative evening, they are not just raising funds; they’re building a future where high-quality care, research breakthroughs, and patient support services are accessible to all.
