Hawaii Polo Life (hawaiipololife.com) is continuing its collaboration with other polo-affiliated brands after last year’s successful partnership with Argentina-based Rocio G. This year, it is collaborating with the boho-luxe brand Lanhtropy (lanhtropy.com) on a line of colorful printed linen pieces. The Miami-based label was started by Uruguayan founder Ani Ponce de León and aims to marry the practical, earthy elements of using 100% eco-friendly linen with elevated, stylish silhouettes in fun colors and prints. Enter María Vázquez Cambiaso, the wife of the number-one Argentine polo player, Adolfo Cambiaso, who met Ponce de León during polo season in Palm Beach. She immediately fell in love with the brand and soon created her own capsule collection, and now serves as a partner. “I think Lanhtropy is classic but yet trendy with a twist,” says Cambiaso. “We try to keep that balance to complement the linen collection.” The duo have turned their focus to the Hawaiian lifestyle and landscape for inspiration behind their collaboration with Hawaii Polo Life. The star of the show is a fuchsia linen set with a metallic bird of paradise print, ideally made to take in a polo match by day and follow up with a night out on the town. “The fabrics are perfect and the colors we chose for this collaboration reflect the Hawaiian spirit very well.”
