Couture Hawaii Fashion Show THE PARTY The Maui Arts & Cultural Center presented a runway fashion show in conjunction with the exhibit Hawaii’s Alfred Shaheen: Fabric to Fashion. Local fashion designers launched their latest collections amongst Maui’s fashionistas and island elite. THE PLAYERS Camille Shaheen, Andy South, pro windsurfer John Smalley, Honey Bun Haynes, Anne Namba and Bernard Foong. THE HIGHLIGHTS Punchy colors and sheer fabrics cut the runway as DJ CIA kept the svelte models in step. Well-attended to say the least, Maui’s who’s who, professional athletes and artists were out in full force during the sold-out show. Cherisse Nichole of VIP Style spearheaded the MACC’s first-ever runway event. “With such an amazing response from tonight’s show, I’m challenged to make the next venue even better!” -Cherisse Nichole of VIP Style
