Scene Stealers

Talk about lighting up the marquee! Honolulu Theatre for Youth got headline support for its 61st season’s fundraiser Actors & Artist Fund: Act V at historic Tenney Theatre. Bringing star appeal were LOST alums Daniel Dae Kim, Henry Ian Cusick and Jorge Garcia, along with young talent Celia Kenney, who joined Annie Cusick Wood (Cusick’s wife and company supporter) and the HTY ensemble to present excerpts from the season’s plays. Needless to stay, the performance inspired the lucky attendees. The evening’s raffle—which included a hot staycation at Halekulani—raised $17,000 for this celebrated beacon of children’s theater. –Photos by Travis Okimoto
