The lauded Hakkasan Group has impressed us again with the opening of its ocean-to-table Herringbone Waikiki at International Market Place’s culinary epicenter, the Grand Lānai. Taking inspiration from the resto’s sister properties in California and Las Vegas, the breezy locale features a hanging garden of fresh herbs and a canopy of ivy enveloping an ample 2,000-square-foot outdoor space. Inside, take a seat amid exposed brick walls and distressed wood floors. But the real wow factor comes from chef Chad Horton, who uses line-caught fish, farm-fresh produce and ranch-raised meat for a mouthwatering menu. Try standout dishes like the signature Salt & Brine raw bar featuring succulent Kualoa Ranch oysters, Alaskan King crab, Maine lobster, prime bone-in rib-eye and whole grilled branzino. Needless to say, reservations are a must. 2330 Kalākaua Ave., Waikīkī, O‘ahu, 797.2435
