Great Britain and Hawai'i meet at what is probably one of the islands' biggest restaurant openings ever. Island chef Chris Kajioka and English toque Anthony Rush met in New York City in 2007. Nine years later, they opened the door on their Resional American cuisine venture, which has a chef's counter complete with a tasting menu. Notable dishes are the Pastrami Shortrib ($110), Chicken Liver Mousse ($7) and Hot-Smoked King Salmon ($19). N. King St., Chinatown, 808.200.5412, restaurantsenia.com
