The one-of-a-kind bracelets, earrings and necklaces are made with the best stones rich with energetic properties in cuts and shapes rarely seen. Founder Chelle Van Otten has been an artist all her life, and considers gemstones to be the ultimate medium. She has long family ties to Hawai‘i and now splits her time between O‘ahu and Barbados. The island lifestyle directly inspires her designs. “We draw our inspiration from our breathtaking gold and pink sunsets to our vibrant ocean reefs, lush tropical trails and waterfalls to all the flora and fauna of the islands,” she says. The sublime colors of a Hawaiian sunset influenced one of the brand’s most popular designs featuring pink, orange and gold Padparadscha sapphires. The brand is more than just beautiful baubles, though. “We will invest 50% of our proceeds from an upcoming fine jewelry collection back into female founders who are on a mission to solve big challenges and be the change we all need,” says Van Otten. Additionally, it uses its unsellable materials to teach kids how to design jewelry and set up their own e-commerce shops. Now that’s a statement necklace we can get behind.
