Taylor Swift fans looking to get a little closer to their idol may want to hop on this Max Spann Real Estate auction. The grand mansion that appears in the music video for Swift's hit "Blank Space" is currently up for grabs.
At first glance, it seems as though the video was shot in the European countryside, but the "gilded age" estate is located in Glen Cove, New York.
Known as Winfield Hall, the residence sits on 16-plus acres and boasts a jaw-dropping 56 rooms, 12 of which are bedrooms with an additional 9.5 bathrooms. There's also space to park 11 cars. It was considered the largest residence in the United States at the time of its construction in 1917.
Formerly owned by Frank Winfield Woolworth of the FW Woolworth company, the house has its own impressive clock tower, while a neatly-trimmed grass garden with tall trees surrounds the property.
The exterior shines in white marble, a feature that extends throughout the home's interior. The grand foyer and entryway staircases glimmer with it, leading to the dining room which features a European chandelier and large windows which allow the sun to shine over the wood-brown walls.
Next to the dining room sits one of the main rooms of the mansion, one that closely resembles the dining room interior with a grand chandelier and yet another white marble fireplace. Red curtains enclose a large window surrounded by lavish gold design.
The bedroom is yet another extension of the white-and-gold gilded design but with a slightly-simpler finish. White walls brighten the space while the meticulous golden details add texture and classic ambiance.
The highlight of the house has to be the sunroom. Adorned with pistachio-green walls and a tile floor, it really feels like the cherry on top to the 32,000-square-foot mansion.
Looking to entertain? The chess room and ball room are perfect for parties. Honestly, this home might be the closest thing to an American Versailles.
Bidding begins at $7 million minimum, while the previous asking price clocks in at a cool $19.95 million. The auction starts July 12. Learn more via Max Spann Real Estate Company and watch Swift bring the home to life in the "Blank Space" video below.
