When the savvy crew from INspiration LOFT at Honolulu Design Center hit the famed Salone del Mobile Milano this past spring, they scored a new find that will imbue a chic European vibe to any island living space. Enter Bonaldo—the celebrated Italian manufacturer founded in 1936—which debuted the handsome Lovy sofa at the trendsetting show. With its unusual curves and dual-height backrest, this centerpiece bears the signature of Sergio Bicego, who has set himself apart for his lighter, whimsical touch in the often austere realm of design. For LOFT, Bonaldo has crafted the Lovy in ocean-blue velvet with black legs. The expert team can also order the sofa in a variety of colors and fabrics—including the model seen here in patina orange rose velvet. From $7,099, 1250 Kapi‘olani Blvd., Kaka‘ako, O‘ahu, 956.1250
