The Party
With a buzzing crowd of 125 guests making their way through the door, energy ran high at the much-awaited Watch Collector’s Event at Ben Bridge Timeworks—one of the best holiday fetes at Ala Moana Center. And for good reason—nowhere else in Honolulu connects discriminating clients with some of the world’s best watch brands like this stalwart boutique.

The People
The evening was a family affair, thanks to the Bridge family (Co-CEO Ed Bridge and his wife, Pam; along with their son, VP of Marketing Marc Bridge and his wife, Julia Bonnheim), who flew in from Seattle just for the occasion. Welcoming guests were managers Lisa White and James Pollone.

The Highlights
Top-of-the-line timepieces from the likes of Girard-Perregaux, Breitling and Breguet drew well-deserved attention. To match this caliber of craftsmanship, it only made perfect sense to turn to one of Honolulu’s best chefs, Chris Kajioka, for major nibbles and Michelle Karr-Ueoka for desserts. Another sweet item that gained buzz: Ben Bridge’s next big move at Ala Moana Center in the near future—right into a spacious new store in the new Bloomingdale’s wing. –Photos by Travis Okimoto
