Tiare Hawai‘i’s (tiarehawaii.com) new Soleil Collection, designed by founder Jane Hoskins, blends tradition with modern adventure. “Hawai‘i plays such a big influence in this collection and all collections,” she says. “When I first started the brand on the North Shore of O‘ahu, my muse and inspiration was the adventurous island girl who would wear Tiare Hawai‘i pieces from the beach to the farmers market, brunch, dinner, out to a barbecue or party, and then would bring her favorite pieces on every travel adventure. The inspiration behind every collection still holds true.” Hawai‘i’s landscapes and spirit play a key role, influencing the color palette of pastel sunrises, dramatic sunsets and ocean hues. When asked about her favorite piece, Hoskins selected the Bora Bora top and skirt set for its traditional Kerawang embroidery. “The process of incorporating this traditional craft into a modern garment and keeping our garments lovingly handmade in Bali by artisans is important and special to me.”
