After a month of social media excitement, Modern Luxury Hawai‘i and Verizon Wireless proudly presented the 4G4Hope grand finale at The Republik. Inside the sleekly decorated room, guests enjoyed tunes by DJ Christa Wittmier, aka SuperCW, and an intimate `ukulele performance by Jake Shimabukuro. Rounding out the evening were Absolut and Malibu signature cocktails and delicious, savory bites from Off the Wall catering. But the real excitement came when artist Heather Brown was announced winner of the campaign, earning $10,000 for Kokua Hawai‘i Foundation. The other three participating celebs--actress Kristina Anapau for Stand Up To Cancer, Shimabukuro for HUGS and Kala Alexander, on behalf of surfer Jamie O'Brien, for Mauli Ola Foundation--received a $4,000 check each for their partnered charities. Special thanks to Mixologist Chandra Lam Lucariello and Southern Wine & Spirits, Market Advantage, Y. Hata and the 2012 ISA Junior World Surf Champions.
